Tip: Simply clicking the green expand button on the top left corner of any window would expand the window to full screen. If you need to bring up the menu for snapping, click and hold the green button.
While the previous method is easy and comes inbuilt on the macOS, I still prefer using keyboard shortcuts on Mac, wherever possible. Fortunately, you can create a keyboard shortcut to snap windows on Mac. You simply need to create a shortcut in Keyboard settings and it would work. For example, if you want to tile the active window to the left of the screen, you can simply register a shortcut that would instantly move any active window to the left. Simply, navigate to System Preferences> Keyboard> Shortcuts> App Shortcuts> Create New Shortcut.

Rectangle is a free and open-source app that allows you to quickly snap your active windows on macOS. Unlike the native solution, Rectangle lets you snap windows by using a keyboard shortcut. It has presets such as snapping to either side, top and bottom halves, corners, thirds, etc. There are more than 20 different positions and sizes that you can implement on a window. The app runs from the Menubar and detects keyboard shortcuts flawlessly.
Hookshot is another app by the same dev as Rectangle and it aims to offer more functionality. Apart from all the keyboard shortcuts, Hookshot also lets you snap windows by simply dragging the window. Simply press the key combination to activate the snap mechanism and then simply the cursor to select an appropriate size and position for the window. For instance, press the ctrl+cmd key to activate and then move the cursor to the left of the screen to set the window to display on the left half.
Better Snap Tool is a customizable app for window management on your mac computer. It has the most features of any app on the list that allows you to set custom modifiers for window snapping. The key feature is the customizable window size, other apps only give you halves, thirds, and quarters but with Better Snap Tool you can create a truly custom size and position for your windows.
You should see the visual cue of a small, expanding blue ring emanating out from your cursor when you've hit the correct spot for Windows to sense your attempt to snap the window in question to a side or corner. This is your cue to let go of your mouse button.
Drawing guides are a pair of dotted guidelines, one vertical and one horizontal, that intersect at the center of the slide. When drawing guides are on, objects will snap to these lines when dragged within a threshold of a few pixels.

When Rhino asks you to choose a point, you can constrain the marker to specific parts of existing objects by turning on object snap modes. When an object snap is active, moving the cursor near a specified point on an object causes the marker to jump to that point.
Object snaps can persist from pick to pick, or can be activated for one pick only. Multiple persistent object snaps can be set in the Osnap control. All object snaps behave similarly, but snap to different parts of existing geometry.

You can snap to surface isoparametric curves using the Int object snap whenever the input is constrained to a surface, for example in ExtractIsocurve, InsertKnot, OrientOnSrf, and with OnSrf, and OnPolysrf one-shot object snaps.
isoparametric curves object snapping is "weaker" than normal object snaps. The normal object snaps are evaluated first, and only if they fail will Rhino try to snap to the isoparametric curve intersections.
Yesterday, we wrote a post about hiding the menu bar, and in the corresponding video tutorial, we used window snapping to highlight one of the benefits of a hidden menu bar. Afterwards, I received several tweets and emails asking how to perform window snapping, since this is not a feature that appears natively in OS X.
Trying to work out if this is a bug with Chrome or with my code. With the below code, when I scroll down it does what I want it to, but when I scroll up it lets me scroll as high as I want without the body snapping back. I've applied the scroll snapping to html because it does not work in Chrome if on body.
Looks like someone logged a bug already for the HTML continued overflow bug. I've seen 1 other issue like this too, where you could keep scrolling up, where scroll-snap-points weren't used. So I don't think they're the issue.
My 2 cents / thoughts:I don't think it's a good idea to put scroll snap on the html tag. I usually end up extracting my body scroll-snap prototypes into a or something, and make it more of a component than a document style.
On MacOS, I can hold the Control key to turn on snapping. However I believe that the Command key should be used instead, or at least an option should be given to the user to choose whether the use Control or Command for snapping. This is because:

Aligning your folder shortcuts into a neat grid can help alleviate the clutter on your Mac or Windows desktop and help you find the right documents more quickly. While Windows folders align to a grid by default, Mac folders often end up in a haphazard arrangement with no apparent order.
